Important Disclosures

The strategies described in the Roth Accelerator tools, calculators, AI companion, and this website may not be suitable for your situation. These materials are provided with the understanding that neither Yields For You nor Leibel Sternbach is rendering personalized financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and that neither is responsible for results obtained from the information herein.

Yields For You, LLC and this website are independent and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the Social Security Administration (SSA), the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), or any other government agency. References to IRS rules, tax brackets, required minimum distributions, and similar figures are provided for educational illustration only. Nothing on this website is a solicitation, offer, or recommendation to provide or obtain financial, advisory, investment, tax-planning, or tax-preparation services. Always consult your own qualified financial advisor and tax professional — independent of any government agency — before acting.

This website — including the AI companion, the calculators, and the written explanations — is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. Portions of the experience, including the chat companion and some of its explanations, are generated by a large language model (LLM / artificial intelligence). LLMs can make mistakes: they can misread your question, omit relevant factors, or produce confident-sounding statements that are simply wrong. The core tax figures are computed from source-verified 2026 federal constants rather than the model's memory, but the surrounding language is AI-generated and may contain errors. Treat everything here as an educational starting point to verify — not a final answer — and confirm anything important with a qualified professional before acting.

Investment advisory services are offered through Yields For You LLC, a registered investment advisor in the State of New York. The firm only transacts business in states where it is properly registered, or is excluded or exempted from registration requirements. Registration is not an endorsement of the firm by the commission and does not mean that the advisor has attained a specific level of skill or ability. All investment strategies have the potential for profit or loss.

Neither the author nor the firm shall be liable for any damages arising herefrom, and they specifically disclaim any liability, loss, or risk taken by individuals who directly or indirectly act on the information provided here. All expressions of opinion are subject to change without notice. You should consult with a qualified professional advisor before implementing any of the strategies discussed. Nothing here is an offer to buy or sell, or a solicitation of any offer to buy or sell, any security or product. Any legal or tax information provided is general in nature and should not be construed as legal or tax advice; always consult an attorney or qualified tax professional regarding your specific situation. Tax laws, IRS rules, and Social Security regulations are subject to change at any time. Different types of investments and products involve higher and lower levels of risk, and there is no guarantee that any specific investment or strategy will be suitable or profitable for any particular person. Asset allocation and diversification do not ensure a profit or guarantee against loss.

Every dollar figure, tax bracket, projection, and example presented here — including any numbers produced by the calculators or the AI companion — is hypothetical and illustrative only, included to explain concepts. They are based on assumptions that may not come to pass and do not reflect the impact that advisory fees, taxes, or other expenses would have on an actual portfolio. Your own results will differ. Figures reflect a 2026 federal snapshot and will change.

Any client stories and examples are illustrative. Names and identifying details have been changed, and several are composites; none depicts any specific current or former client. Roth conversions and the other strategies described carry tax consequences and are not appropriate for everyone. Consult your own tax and financial professionals before acting.

The information here is believed to be accurate as of the date of writing. Tax laws, IRS rules, Social Security regulations, dollar thresholds, and the firm's own business, affiliations, products, and services may all change. Statements describing the firm — including what it does and does not offer or sell — describe the firm as of the time of writing only and are subject to change. Calculator disclosures & assumptions used

The Roth conversion and related calculators on this site are provided for informational and educational purposes only, to help you understand the potential effects of a conversion. The results are hypothetical and will not precisely reflect your individual circumstances. The tools do not provide tax, legal, or investment advice and do not guarantee any investment's performance or that a conversion will avoid loss. All calculations are based on the information you enter and should not be the sole basis for a decision; their accuracy depends on the accuracy of your inputs, and changes in tax law or other factors may affect the results. We assume no responsibility for their accuracy or applicability to your situation. Where individualized advice is appropriate, Yields For You recommends you consult a qualified tax advisor, CPA, financial planner, or investment manager. Different account types have different rules for withdrawals, penalties, and distributions — understand these before acting.

Roth conversions are also subject to a five-year rule. Generally, each converted amount must season for five years before it can be withdrawn without a 10% early-distribution penalty if you are under age 59½, and a separate five-year rule applies to the tax-free treatment of earnings. These periods can materially affect the tax outcome of a conversion — review them with your tax professional before converting.

To keep the illustrations simple, the projection calculators make a number of assumptions that may not hold for you:

  • Steady tax rates. The tools generally assume the tax rate you enter stays constant through retirement. Actual rates are progressive and change with income and with future legislation, so the rate you enter may not represent what you would actually owe.
  • Constant growth. The tools assume a single, steady growth rate for your accounts. They do not model market volatility, down years, or losses; real returns vary significantly from year to year.
  • Current rules carried forward. The tools assume today's tax code, RMD rules, and dollar thresholds remain as they are throughout the projection. Any of these can change and would alter the results.
  • RMDs beginning at 73. Required minimum distributions are assumed to begin at age 73 (age 75 if you were born in 1960 or later), using current life-expectancy factors.
  • Long horizon. Projections run over a long retirement horizon (into your 90s); your actual life expectancy and financial needs will differ.
  • Simplified "do nothing" comparison. When comparing a conversion to doing nothing, the tools apply a simplified annual drag to the taxable side account rather than modeling exact capital-gains taxation; your real tax treatment depends on your investments and actions, and proceeds are assumed to be reinvested rather than spent.
  • Single-account illustration. The break-even and RMD projections model a single account and owner over time. They do not, by themselves, account for a spouse, beneficiaries, joint life expectancy, or multiple income sources — the separate widow's-penalty and inherited-IRA tools illustrate those specific scenarios.

Because of these simplifications, the calculators are educational illustrations only and are not a substitute for individualized planning. Consult your own qualified tax, legal, and financial professionals before acting.
