MY STORY

My story

I've spent my career on both sides of the thing most retirees never see: the gap between the people who manage your money and the people who handle your taxes. I'm an Enrolled Agent, licensed by the IRS — which means I'm permitted to give the tax advice most financial advisors are forbidden to offer. By day, I'm the Chief Technology Officer of Advisor CRM, a national financial-technology firm advisors use to manage billions of dollars in assets; before that, as Chief Technology Officer of Fusion Capital Management, I helped grow the firm to a billion dollars under management. That hands-on technology background is exactly what makes the dip-watching, bracket-aware conversion process in my book possible — the same caliber of tools the largest firms run on, in the hands of a practice small enough to use them one family at a time.

I'm the Amazon best-selling author of Living with Financial Anxiety, an Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor (APMA®), a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) through The College of Financial Services, and a National Social Security Advisor Certificate Holder (NSSA). I hold my Series 65 and Life & Annuity licenses, and I've been educating retirees since 2007. But none of that is the reason I do this.

My father died at sixty-three — broke, buried in credit-card debt, with no will and no plan. The morning he died, I had to ask him where he wanted to be buried, because in sixty-three years he'd never told a soul. I built my firm so that no one else has to end up the way he did. Burying him taught me the one thing I now build everything around:

Estate planning isn't about death. It's about love.

And I'm not telling you this from a safe distance. In November 2025, my family and I were out of state, walking together on a bitter-cold afternoon. My wife was pushing the stroller; my little girl was up ahead on her scooter. I turned to say something — and the next thing I knew I was face down on the sidewalk. A car had jumped the curb and hit me. Three surgeries, a break that wouldn't heal, weeks flat on my back; a healthy man in his prime, and it still nearly took everything. It's the exact catastrophe I spend my days helping people prepare for, and it was happening to me in real time. Lying there waiting for the ambulance, I wasn't counting regrets. I was thinking about what I'd leave behind — and what it would feel like for the people I love to be on the receiving end of it.

That's why I do this. I founded Yields For You with one mission: to help one million people retire with financial security. The leap from working to retired is a cluster of once-in-a-lifetime decisions with no do-over, and what people need isn't someone to run their money forever — it's a guide through that one passage. I'd rather tell you not to convert than sell you a strategy that doesn't fit. My whole aim is to leave you better off than I found you, whether you ever call me or not.
